Forklift introduction：forklifts are industrial handling vehicles, which are various wheeled handling vehicles for loading and unloading, stacking and short-distance transportation of palletized goods. The market situation of forklifts

China's forklift truck manufacturing industry has gone out of the plight of declining sales volume since the fourth quarter of 2009. In 2010, it achieved a comprehensive recovery in the domestic market and demonstrated its strength with a leap-forward development posture.

According to the data of the production and sales demand forecast and transformation and upgrading analysis report of China's forklift manufacturing industry from 2013 to 2017, the sales volume of China's forklift trucks (including export) reached 232,409 in 2010, with a year-on-year growth of 67.31%. Among them, 22,960 electric balance and driving forklifts are sold, 7502 electric storage forklifts are sold, 22,280 electric walking storage forklifts are sold, and 179,667 internal combustion balance forklifts are sold. Our domestic sales are about 190,000 units, 70% more than the 111,350 units in 2009. Export sales were about 40,000, up about 60 percent from 27,555 in 2009.

China forklift truck overseas market situation：In 2007, China's forklift truck sales reached 139,000 units, up 30% year-on-year. The export of 47,000 forklifts increased 78% year on year, accounting for 34% of the sales. Exports accounted for 65% of the increase in sales.

In 2007, the global sales volume of forklifts reached 907,000, up 10% year-on-year. The composition of consumption by region is as follows: Europe accounts for about 40% of the world forklift truck market; North America (us + Canada) is the second largest market, with about 21%. China's market share is already more than 11 per cent; Japan's share is less than 10%; The rest of the world's share is closer to 16%.

China's internal combustion balanced weight forklifts account for about 80% of the sales volume, while electric forklifts account for more than 50% of the global sales volume. This is because the electric forklift truck has become the mainstream product in the forklift truck market in Europe, America and Japan. Due to China's low environmental protection requirements, more frequent forklift operations, poor operating environment and operating costs, China's forklift truck demand will still be inclined to use internal combustion forklift truck for a long time.

Due to the reasons such as the low proportion of China's export volume of forklift trucks in overseas market, prominent advantage of cost performance and export impulse caused by export tax rebate, it is expected that China's export of forklift trucks will maintain a fast growth rate, with a compound growth rate of no less than 30% before 2010. In the next three years, the annual growth rate of domestic forklift truck sales is expected to remain above 20%, and the dependence on overseas market will increase. Exports have been the main driver of sales growth.
